Annual Events

Our two main events are Backpack Brigade in August and the Bad Santa Bar Crawl in December!

St. Pete’s Best Charity Bar Crawl

14th ANNUAL
ST. PETE BAD SANTA BAR CRAWL – ST. PETE 2018

Benefiting LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE & THE VEMBU SUBRAMANIAN MSAC AWARD

You must complete early online registration by November 25th for this event if you would like our “Santa’s Bag” package, which includes the wristband (required for the Charity Crawl and gets you all the food and drink specials along the Crawl), plus FREE Bad Santa SWAG! Spread the word if you register online by 12/7 you will also be entered into a drawing to win the Bad Santa Bar Crawl Custom Cornhole Boards (picture posted on our FB pages).

Early Online Registration 11/5 – 11/25 (starting at 7pm)

$25: Includes “Santa’s Bag” Swag item in addition to your crawl wristband

Regular Online Registration 11/26 – 12/7 (up until 10pm)

$25: Wristband ONLY  (wristband gets you all the drink and food specials along the Crawl)

You will ONLY be able to pick-up your “Santa’s Bag” package, pre-sale wristband at the START OF THE CRAWL. (Stay tuned for an announcement for the starting bar, don’t worry we will give you all the information you need)

The start of the Crawl is THE ONLY place anyone who did not register online will be able to do so on event day.  Cash sales are preferred on day of event. 

Registration on Saturday, December 8th (the day of the Crawl) is: $25 / Wristband only.

*Arriving to the start of the Crawl no later than 7pm is strongly suggested.*

CRAWL ROUTE IS AS FOLLOWS:

The North Pole: 6:00 -8pm –   TBA    – this is the only place you can register for the Crawl if you have not done so already AND the only stop you will be able to pick up your “Santa’s Bag” package (if you registered by 11/25) & your wristbands if you pre-registered online by 12/7.

Costume Contest is held here!!! Prizes for Best Overall Individual, Best Overall Duo & Best Overall Group (3 or more people).  You must register and receive a number for the Costume Contest.  Contest will be held at 7:40pm sharp!

Sleigh Stop #2: 8 – 10pm -FIVE BUCKS, THE TAMIAMI & CADDY’S (during this time frame pop into any of these locations for specials)

Sleigh Stop #3: 10 -12am: YARD OF ALE & MACDINTONS

Food Stop (throughout the evening) TBA

DRINK SPECIALS WILL BE ANNOUNCED CLOSER TO THE DATE OF THE EVENT.

*Crawl Route is subject to change, but we will again give you all the information you need.

*Note: ALL of the above listed Bars have made a monetary donation to the event in order to participate – please be sure to keep that in mind while we are on the Crawl**  There will be a lot of people out on event night, be remember we are all about spreading kindness during the holidays, the bars will be busy so be patient with the staff.  #localsupportinglocal

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A CHARITY EVENT AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND THE EVENT.  THIS EVENT IS 21+ -BRING YOUR ID WITH YOU EVEN IF YOU “LOOK” OLDER THAN 21 THE BARS WILL HAVE SECURITY CHECKING IDs.

Annual Backpack Brigade Benefiting Blessings in a Backpack – Pinellas County

Blessings in a Backpack is a program that mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Each year it never ceases to amaze us that this program continues to grow.
More and more local children are in need of food on the weekends while they are not in school. Blessings in a Backpack – Pinellas County, the local chapter of the program, provides a minimum of six items in every bag they send home. Foods are shelf stable, kid friendly and easy to prepare.
The Backpack Brigade Event, benefiting Blessings in a Backpack -Pinellas County, is a family friendly event. SPARK 5, Inc’s goal is collect new backpacks and monetary donations to help run the program and fill the food pantry for the upcoming school year. The event typically will have Live Music, raffle prizes or a silent auction and more! We hope to see you there as we continue to grow this event each year. There are over 300 children on the program and every donation counts with this event – we hope you will join us!
